Jim's whitetail measured over 22" wide. This guy has been hunting whitetails for 50 years, and this is the biggest deer he's every taken. His son, Pat, didn't connect on a wily whitetail, but did get a huge 250 pound hog. They hunted at the end of November with Ranell and the boys in Texas and I was finally able to hoop up with him today and he's still grinning from ear to ear!

Everything went great on the hunt! We saw a lot of deer and each of us tagged a good size deer. Ron did an awesome job of taking care of us and I definitely recommend his hunts.

On my mountian lion hunt in Idaho, I tracked my tom for three days. I finally got him - 6 miles in. I shot him with my .45 Colt Ruger Super Redhawk. He weighed 145 pounds and was 75 inches in length from the base of his neck to the tip of his tail. Not sure of the overall length, I did get the measurement. Probably close to 87 inches from nose to end of the tail. Fantastic hunt! Rode 20-50 miles a day on snowmobile and then had to hike in on snowshoes. Snow in the mountains was 2.5 - 3 feet deep. Just wanted to let you know that we had a trip of a lifetime, it was great, the people were great and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to fish. The weather was in the high 80's and hard to take...Ha! I would go back with no problem. Thanks for all you did to make our trip a great one.

Kendal did a a great job setting me up on Rios. Wonderful locations to hunt, great photography chances as well as bagging two Rios. We certainly need to plan for next year. Thanks again.

Our clients, Ron Nelson and his daughter KayCee (14), hunted eastern's with Keaton in SW Kansas a couple of weeks ago. Ron said that Keaton and his wife really took great care of them, making sure that KayCee was a part of the hunt, and not just put in a spot to bag a gobbler. He (Keaton) really took the time to teach KayCee as much as he could about turkey hunting, and all the nuances that go along with it. I talked to KayCee and she was so excited telling the story about how she experienced her first ever hunt! Great job to Keaton, and especially Keaton for taking such great care of her! Oh yeah, dad, Ron also bagged a bird on the hunt too. They want to go back in '09 to hunt with Kirk for rios.

Just a quick note from my group of fishermen, they were out in Ohio on Lake Erie. They had a great time. Quoting, "This is the best charter we ever used! They were great to fish with, weather was good and we caught a lot of fish too!" They are ready to go back next year!

Our fishing lodge in Alaska is still as good as ever. I have just returned from a 5 night, 4 day fishing trip there with four clients. The service, lodge accommodations, meals and yes the fishing was outstanding. We all returned with 100 lbs of salmon and halibut fillets. We were able to limit on salmon every day and almost on the halibut. This is a can't miss for anyone wanting to have a great time and experience Southeast Alaskan ocean fishing. As always there are no guarantees for fishing success but you will not find another more knowledgeable or accommodating outfitter. Having said that, the State of Alaska is adjusting salmon and halibut limits to insure the continued health of the resource. Please be sure to let your clients know this in advance as limits may change on short notice. This is my second trip there and I will continue to return and feel very comfortable in sending clients there.

As you know, I had two groups of hunters in Quebec the first week of June. Six of the nine hunters harvested bears with all nine having opportunities. Everyone has nothing but good things to say about the entire experience (except for the black flies). As usual, Gary and his entire crew treated my clients like family.

This weekend my parents went fishing with Shane from New York and here is what they had to say: "The fishing was slow due to the weather, however by the end of day we had caught three keeper fish, all brown trout. The highlight of the day was your dad's last fish, a 14 pound brown which is the biggest of the year! I caught a nice fish that weighed in at 8 pounds. All in all we had a great time and Shane runs a top notch outfit with great equipment.

Our lodge in Panama is simply the best! Five clients and I just returned. We caught four marlin, 94 sailfish, dorado, tuna, big roosters...lost count...the list goes on. Food and service were second to none that I have been to in six years. Beautiful lodge. Big fish year round. Don't wait!!!
